Functional Industries offers a number of Day Training and Habilitation (DT&H) programs that help participants learn new skills, gain greater independence, explore the community, and to develop friendships. Persons served have the ability to move through the DT&H programs based on need. Their individual goals focus on desires, strengths, abilities, and life span issues, making them unique and specific.
Wright Alternatives serves individuals who have minimal needs in the areas of personal cares, vocational skills, and behavior management. This program is for those who have the desire and ability to work as well as the desire to move into community employment. We teach the soft skills and social skills needed for job development. Jobs consist of light assembly and are paid by a piece rate. We also work toward community employment based on the person’s desires, strengths, and abilities.
Our Wright Connection I & II programs provide services to persons with some of the most difficult behavioral challenges. Their success centers on committed and consistent staff, creative and individualized behavioral support plans, and a belief that all people are capable of change. We provide intensive programming in areas such as behavior management, personal cares, vocational skills, and social skills.
